Stockholm, SE

Stockholm! I made it, got out of the airport, on the bus and 1hr sleep and I had made it to Stockholm Central Station. I retrieved my bags from the Suburbs(Olle’s mates were looken after them.) Back to the station, waitin for a train out to the countryside to meet up with Olle. Free coffee on the platform, x3, god jul, from the train company. Yes. Onto the train and 2hrs of standing because fucken overbooked trains are a form of oppression in Sweden apparently. Fucken little Swedish Bogan/Chav/Hick kids with their own seat. Rednecks. GGRRRRRAAGGH!

Talked to some fellow. We had two conversations at the same time: equality and engineering. It was confusing. He was a student, voted left in a country that has just elected right, he told me he had lost hope and I said challenge and I got ready to alight 15mins early. The coffee had worn off.

Hallsberg, SE

36hrs later ah met Olle and his Mamma at the train station and they drove me to a nice warm cottage near the woods to drink whiskey, lager and eat Swedish sweets and meat stuffs and cheese and bread. Fucken never been so nourished! Aha!
Christmas was real nice and all I been doing for the last however many days is nothin. Layin around and watchin movies and having mini adventures in broken english and a fucken majestic Swedish countryside. Keepin my Badger knives close and indulging in so much food, kaffe, snus, and shitty cinema. Happy as... Larry? Yes!
I await New Years! O!

Cologne, DE

It went on like this till Jaxon and myself jumped in a strangers car and went to Cologne for me to catch a flight and for him to see his girlfriend. Couched surfed there for a couple of nights before I realized I had booked my flight back to Stockholm for Christmas a whole month prior and missed it by 3o days. Anyway, Cologne saw me singing Elton John and Tina Turner Karaoke at the Asian Studies section of the University there, cheap Beck’s and a shitty DJ. Yes!

Hitch hiked to Hamburg, which was north at least, took me a out 6hrs goddammit. The first car was nice, a family, like, and the little kids forced their mum and dad to pick me up. Talked about the German economy, North vs. South, East vs. West, property rates and such, wind power. Second car, hmmm, creepy Italian guy in a turtleneck sweat with a beefy german guy. The car was luxury though, so I grinned, bared it. I mean, I didn’t bare nothin.. YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN. Leather.

Copenhagen, DN

No time, no time, so I pissed, ditched my cardboard, I spent half my money on a 7hr night train to Copenhagen. Yeah it was boring and I didn’t sleep a fucken wink. Took it all the way to the Airport and waited 5hrs for me plane. This woman frowned at me for about 2 of them hrs.

And I gotta tell you right now, and take it from me: 7Eleven, all hail the only thing open at 3am Sunday Morning at an Airport.Fuck their coffee and croissants and cigarettes were good. No, best ever. Yes, indeed.

Berlin, DE

Landed feet first straight into a comfortable couch surfing situation. Stayed there two nights but I got the distinct impression the guy didn’t want me around. Didn’t mind though because he was strange. Berlin was fucken magnificent. Grey, grey, grey, shabby imploding building full of bars and artist studios. Shit trains rollin over vistas of tramp camps and many a goth. Industrial, big time, grey.

In the meantime I caught with my main men Jaxon and Yake. It was an damn nice feeling to see some familiar faces in an unfamiliar city, and we went to bars and a “The Books”(let me highly recommend them to you.) concert and to a few art galleries and the like. Mostly we just walked around and just dug the Berlin way. Ate real nice food and did our laundry.

The three of us ended up couch surfing with a girl named Kristin who was extremely goddamn hospitable. The the fun really began. Some nights we’d stay up late drinkin uber-cheap red playin Russian card games. We went to a real swell Kino bar that had a ping pong table and real cheap lager, and we played table tennis till Jaxon was bar champ then we just left victorious. We found kebabs and moved on home to bed.
