Berlin, DE

Landed feet first straight into a comfortable couch surfing situation. Stayed there two nights but I got the distinct impression the guy didn’t want me around. Didn’t mind though because he was strange. Berlin was fucken magnificent. Grey, grey, grey, shabby imploding building full of bars and artist studios. Shit trains rollin over vistas of tramp camps and many a goth. Industrial, big time, grey.

In the meantime I caught with my main men Jaxon and Yake. It was an damn nice feeling to see some familiar faces in an unfamiliar city, and we went to bars and a “The Books”(let me highly recommend them to you.) concert and to a few art galleries and the like. Mostly we just walked around and just dug the Berlin way. Ate real nice food and did our laundry.

The three of us ended up couch surfing with a girl named Kristin who was extremely goddamn hospitable. The the fun really began. Some nights we’d stay up late drinkin uber-cheap red playin Russian card games. We went to a real swell Kino bar that had a ping pong table and real cheap lager, and we played table tennis till Jaxon was bar champ then we just left victorious. We found kebabs and moved on home to bed.
